After a year away, Baseball with the Bishop is back at Tropicana Field, and we’re ready to fill the stands with the people of the Diocese of Southwest Florida! Join us Friday, August 28, as the Tampa Bay Rays take on the San Diego Padres at 7:10 p.m. Gates open at 5:40 p.m., giving plenty of time to gather, connect, and cheer together before the first pitch.

Step Up to the Plate: Baseball with the Bishop Returns!
After a year away, Baseball with the Bishop is back at Tropicana Field, and we’re ready to fill the stands with the people of the Diocese of Southwest Florida!
Join us Friday, August 28, as the Tampa Bay Rays take on the San Diego Padres at 7:10 p.m. Gates open at 5:40 p.m., giving plenty of time to gather, connect, and cheer together before the first pitch.
Bring your church friends, youth groups, families, and neighbors and help us knock this one out of the park. Our goal this year is 1,000 Episcopalians in the stands. If we reach that number, Bishop Doug Scharf will take the mound and throw out the opening pitch!
Later in the game, Bishop Scharf will also lead the crowd in the 7th inning stretch, making it a night full of faith, fellowship, and baseball.
Tickets are available in the lower corner sections for just $36.60 (a $50 value), and $5 from every ticket purchased will be donated back to the diocese to support Episcopal Charities.
So gather your team, rally your congregation, and come enjoy a summer night at the ballpark.
