Vocation Information Day
Feeling a call to ordained ministry? Vocation Information Day is Saturday, January 10, 2026. Do you sense God might be calling you to ordained ministry? Come explore that possibility with us. This special day will offer a chance to engage in meaningful conversations with members of the Commission on Ministry, the School for Ministry, the Bishop’s Staff, and others. You will enjoy fellowship over lunch and gain valuable insights into the discernment process. Participants are encouraged to invite their spouse or partner and their rector, vicar, or priest-in-charge to join them. There is no cost to attend.

The Diocese of SWFL offers a Vocation Information Gathering at Dayspring in January of each year. These gatherings are an opportunity for those discerning a call to ministry to meet with the Commission on Ministry, representatives from the School for Ministry, and others. It is a time to gather information, ask questions, and enjoy fellowship. Attendance at a Vocation Information Day is required for those who wish to pursue a call to ordained ministry in our diocese.
