General Convention
The 82nd General Convention is scheduled to meet in Phoenix, Arizona from July 3 – 8, 2027.
General Convention is the legislative gathering of The Episcopal Church, held every three years. It has been held since 1785, when the first General Convention was held in Philadelphia.

Proposed Amendments
It is a requirement of Canon I. Title 1. Section 1. e that we give notice whenever any alteration of the Book of Common Prayer or of the Constitution is proposed. The 81st General Convention proposed three resolutions with changes to the Constitution and one to the Book of Common Prayer.
