The Council on Deancons, led by the Ven. Michael Kitt was honored to share the recipients of the 2023 Episcopal Charities Grants at the 55th Annual Convention on Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Convention Center.
The Episcopal Charities Fund granted a combined $45,000 to outreach programs at sixteen Episcopal churches across Southwest Florida. The funds will go to support local communities with food assistance, foster care, aftercare, homeless outreach, laundry assistance, and much more.
The 2023 Grant Recipients are:

- All Soul’s, N. Ft. Myers

- Church of the Redeemer, Sarasota
- St. Margaret of Scotland, Sarasota
- St. George’s, Bradenton
- St. Mark’s, Marco Island
- St. Paul’s, Naples
- St. Vincent’s, St. Petersburg
- St. James House of Prayer, Tampa
- St. John’s, Brooksville
