On Saturday, May 4, Church of the Holy Spirit, Osprey, held its Annual Spring Tea. Gail Sullivan, a prophetic writer and publisher, was the guest speaker. Her inspiring words on forgiveness, faithfulness, and fellowship challenged all who attended in a powerful way! Nancy Lihan, a worship leader at CHS, provided a beautiful array of lively songs with Scott Gardner as sound support.
There were 90 ladies (and a few men) attending the event. It was a lovely afternoon of fellowship, food, tea, music, gifts, raffles, and, yes, even an auction. Many showed off their spring hats and colorful outfits.
CHS was blessed by having many business sponsors and donors to support this event. Because of the generosity of all who participated, we were able to make a donation to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
This year’s inspiration came from Hebrews 13:2, “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”
