DaySpring Episcopal Camp and Conference Center and the Diocese of Southwest Florida are delighted to announce that Caitlin Martin has accepted the call to serve as the next Director of Camp and Outdoors.
Caitlin currently serves as the Assistant Director of the YMCA Camp of Maine and previously spent three years as Assistant Director of Paradise Point Episcopal Camp in the Diocese of Idaho.
“I have known Caitlin for several years, and I am thrilled to welcome someone with her depth of experience,” said Brad Thompson, Executive Director of DaySpring. “Her strong background with established camp programs, paired with her outstanding high adventure and waterfront leadership experience, makes her an exceptional match for Camp DaySpring. I truly believe we just hired a rock star.”
Caitlin brings with her a network of established relationships with Camp Directors and Program Directors across the Episcopal Camp and Conference Centers Association. “Some of my closest friends and peers serve at Episcopal camps around the country. I am so excited to return to my roots and serve The Episcopal Church again,” Caitlin Martin said. “I have watched with great interest what Camp DaySpring is doing, and it is clearly something special. I cannot wait to join the team and help build on the momentum already happening in Southwest Florida.”
Caitlin and Brad will represent DaySpring at the upcoming annual conference of Episcopal Camps and Conference Centers from January 25-30, 2026. She will move permanently to DaySpring in early February, when she will begin hiring our summer camp staff.
