The Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida is delighted to announce the newly appointed Diocesan Youth Council (DYC)—a team of passionate young leaders and dedicated lay adults who will help shape and strengthen youth ministry across our diocese.
This newly formed council will partner closely with Diocesan Missioner for Youth and Young Adult Ministries, Morgan Brownlee, the Youth and Young Adult (YaYA) Commission, diocesan staff, and congregations to cultivate meaningful opportunities for spiritual growth, leadership development, and community-building among our youth.
From Morgan Brownlee:
“I am so excited to see where God takes us and how the Holy Spirit will move in each and every one of you to help grow the faith of our young people in Southwest Florida. On behalf of the Bishop, the Diocese, and our YaYA Commission, congratulations on your appointment to the Diocesan Youth Council!”
