Volunteers from across the St. Petersburg Deanery gathered with Bishop Doug Scharf for a day of service celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. at Benison Farm this morning. Everyone got a little dirty harvesting winter vegetables, weeding garden beds, and cleaning the chicken coop. A collaboration between St Thomas Episcopal Church, Saint Petersburg, FL, and St Augustine’s Episcopal Church, Benison provides fresh produce to its community through a pop-up farmers market held at St Augustine’s.
