The St. Petersburg Deanery was busy with two ordinations on January 20 and January 24 in St. Petersburg.
On Saturday, January 20, the Rev. Timothy Clarence MacDonald was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons at The Cathedral Church of St. Peter in St. Petersburg. The Rev. MacDonald has been called to be the next Deacon-in-Charge at the Church of Nativity in Sarasota. Following his graduation from seminary in May, he will relocate to Sarasota, where he will be ordained a Priest and transition to Priest-in-Charge.

On Wednesday, January 24, the Rev. Hector Manuel Chamorro was ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests at St. Vincent’s Episcopal Church in St. Petersburg. Fr. Chamorro currently serves at St. Catherine’s in Temple Terrace.
