In addition to Thrift stores, many of our parishes operate other comprehensive ministries that respond to local needs.
Support of the Early Head Start program in Hernando County remains a vital outreach ministry. Funded by contributions from parishioners, the “Angel Wings” program provides essential items for children to be healthy, happy, and comfortable throughout the school year. Another program dear to our hearts is our monthly donation to Day Star Ministries; parishioners fill a shopping cart with non-perishable foods to supplement Day Star’s local food pantry.
St. John’s Episcopal Church 200 S Brooksville Ave, Brooksville, FL 34601
Weekdays, volunteers from St.Andrew’s pack and distribute 60 bag lunches to the homeless and needy living on the streets in downtown Tampa. This program is fully supported by donations from church members and their time shopping, packing and serving.
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church,
509 E. Twiggs St., Tampa.
As we unite in these missions, we stand as a collective force for good, recognizing that a nourished body and soul can create a ripple effect of positive change. Our commitment to service extends beyond our walls, embracing the wider community with open arms. Whether it’s a hot meal shared around a table or a bag of groceries that eases the burden, each act of giving is a testament to our dedication to serving others. Through our food pantries and ministries, we offer sustenance to those who hunger for both physical and spiritual nourishment.
If you’re inspired by our mission and wish to join hands in serving the community, we welcome your involvement. Whether you have time to spare, resources to share, or simply a heart eager to make a difference, your contribution is valued and vital.
